Saturday afternoon Centennial Park was turned into a wee bit of a circus, as drag queens faced off against ball players from the Jasper Mixed Slo-Pitch league in a balls out game of slow pitch. There were frying pans as bats and grapefruits as balls, as well as a slew of unusual rules.

The game was a fundraiser for the Emily Morgan Foundation. The final tally of funds raised hasn't yet been completed, but Mychol Ormandy, the event organizer, said he thinks it's around $1,100. That money, along with money raised in Edmonton, will go toward helping a family with a sick child.
