The curling rink was bustling with activity last weekend, with 22 teams hoggin’ the ice during the 2016 Jasper Ladies Bonspiel.
Nine teams were from Jasper, while the rest came from around the province—six from Hinton, two from Spruce Grove, one from Sherwood Park, Edmonton, Entwistle and Rocky Mountain House, respectively, and another with players from locations around Alberta.
In the end, the bonspiel went to Hinton, with a clean sweep across the board.
Team Naghtigal won the A Final, team Armstrong the B Final and team Frantz the C Final.
Jasper’s last team standing was team Marquis, which made it to the B Final.
