Free WiFi available in municipal buildings
Free Internet access is now available in several municipal buildings across town.
The municipality, in partnership with Shaw Communication, installed wireless routers in the Jasper Fitness and Aquatic Centre, the Jasper Activity Centre and Arena, Community Outreach Services office and it will soon be available in the new library and cultural centre.
Jasper residents and visitors who are not Shaw customers can access the network by selecting ShawGuest from the list of available WiFi settings and follow the onscreen instructions to connect.
In the spring of 2015, the municipality approved the project after feedback from the community indicated people were in favour of the service.
