Girls from the Jasper Dance Program put their best foot forward during the annual Christmas dance recital, Dec. 12.
Held at the Jasper Activity Centre, the show started with a performance by a group of girls aged three to five. Dressed up in pink ballerina dresses the girls danced to Disney鈥檚 鈥淯nder the Sea鈥� led by their dance teacher Chelsea Attree.
Over the next hour, the show included 17 other acts from solo dances, to duets to full-blown dance crews.
Many of the performances were self-choreographed and ranged in style from hip-hop to classical dance.
Registration for winter classes begins Jan. 5 or during the first class. Classes begin Jan. 6 and are open for anyone two and a half years old or older.
