Dear Editor,
While visiting Jasper in early April to take advantage of a ski pass deal and great accommodation, I was distressed to discover that I had lost my drivers license.
Likely it had slid out of a pocket either while we were up at Marmot Basin, or on a walk through town. My family, friends and I scoured parking lots and snow drifts, and repeatedly checked with the lost and found at Marmot Basin, but had no luck. After a day or two of this, I thought I was hooped.
To my immense relief and utter delight, a phone message from an RCMP constable at the Jasper detachment cheerfully advised me they had my license at the office.
Someone had handed it in. I have no idea who it was that did this kind deed, or where they found it, but I wanted to somehow say thank you very much for their thoughtfulness. I would appreciate relaying this message of gratitude to whoever turned it in.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Hussey
