The band claims to channel The Runaways, The Black Keys and Big Mama Thorton and that Miss Quincy doesn’t fit the classic girl singer-songwriter mold. Instead they start a party everywhere they play by “getting down and rocking out.”
In 2012, the band was seen in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Austria and Canada. Notably, they were seen rocking the festival goers at the Robson Valley Music Festival last summer.
Currently, Miss Quincy and The Showdown are calling the road their home as they promote the release of their second album, Like The Devil Does.
After wintering in California and Mexico, Miss Quincy and the Showdown are excited to bring their brand new songs to Western Canada before departing on their fourth European tour later this year.
