Dear Editor,
I read with interest your Movember coverage and would like to congratulate the two teams you identified in Jasper鈥攖he Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Sawridge team. Great job with your fundraising efforts, and the Movember Gala was a first class event that was excellent in its concept and execution! I鈥檇 like to also let everyone know there was a third team in town: The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Movember Team! This is our third year of participation in Movember and this year 47 of our colleagues participated, including the Executive Team and a strong Mo Sista contingent.
Together with the Lodge鈥檚 donation, this team raised $8,207! With combined efforts of card nights, bake sales, raffles and generous personal donations, this group of dedicated individuals worked hard to raise funds for this important cause, and we are very proud of them all. A big thank you to Eric Skulstad who was the team captain and organizer extraordinaire. We look forward to next year!
