
A snowfall warning for Jasper was issued today (Thursday, December 19).
The warning, released at 3:30 p.m. was for Highway 93, the Icefield Parkway, from Jasper to the Saskatchewan River Crossing.
Snowfall of 15 to 20 centimetres is expected.
According to the government weather forecast, there is a 60 per cent chance of snow flurries in Jasper tonight, with snow all day and all night tomorrow (Friday, December 20) and Saturday (December 21).
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
