Every radio station in Alberta is participating in Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper on July 31 to support those displaced by devastating wildfires in Jasper and Little Red River Cree Nation Wildfires through the Red Cross.
Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper will feature a province-wide bottle drive at every Alberta bottle depot, and all you have to do is state “these are for Jasper,” according to a Canadian Red Cross release.
Any donations to the Canadian Red Cross 2024 Alberta Fires Appeal will be matched by the Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta. Every $1 will become $3 to support individuals affected by wildfires.
“Your generous donation will allow the Canadian Red Cross to provide people with humanitarian aid such as financial assistance and relief supplies,” said the release.
