But that is about to change.
Jasper will reach a daytime high of 22 degrees today (Friday, June 12) and clouds will roll in this afternoon.
There is a 60 per cent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorm this afternoon, clearing later this evening. The low tonight will be five degrees.
Tomorrow, Saturday, June 13, Jasper will see showers with a risk of thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Ten to 15 millimetres of rain is forecast, with a daytime high of 14 degrees and a UV index of four (or moderate).
Rain is forecast for Saturday night with a low of six degrees.
Sunday, June 14, will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers during the day and 40 per cent chance overnight. The high is forecast at 14 degrees and the low at six degrees.
Monday, June 15, is forecast showers with a high of 13 degrees and a low of five.
Tuesday, June 16, will be cloudy with a 60 per cent of chance of showers, a high of 13 degrees and low of six.
And Wednesday, June 17 will be cloudy with a 60 per cent of chance of showers, a high of 15 degrees and low of five.
The sun is forecast to return on Thursday, June 18 with a high of 19 degrees.
