Jasper National Park has announced that 2022 resident and work passes are now available.
A valid park pass is required for residents and seasonal workers in Jasper National Park and must be displayed on their vehicle at all times.
For those who already have the 2021 work pass, next year’s will be issued in April 2022.
In order to obtain a resident pass, the following is required:
- Your name, physical street address and mailing address
- Your valid vehicle registration showing expiry date, license plate number and registered address
- Proof of employment in Jasper (such as confirmation-of-employment letter from employer, most recent pay stub, staff ID, etc.)
If applying online, upload photos of required documents; black-out SIN and banking information.
The new passes feature a glacier scene, which Parks Canada says is popular with residents and visitors alike.

The administration office (west entrance at 607 Connaught Drive) is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.
