A snowfall warning was issued this morning (Tuesday, Oct. 13) for the Icefields Parkway.
At 4:31 a.m., the Environment Canada said snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres is expected on Highway 93 North between Jasper and the Saskatchewan River Crossing.
Snow is forecast to begin around 12 p.m. today and continue until Wednesday afternoon.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
