When Amber Homan found her inflatable Christmas ornament destroyed, she knew it wasn't done by a human.
And when she checked her front door security camera, her suspicions were confirmed.
Caught on video was a female elk tossing around and dancing with the poop emoji-shaped ornament for about 30 minutes.
Homan posted two clips of the footage of elk versus her inflatable Christmas poop on Facebook, and they have been shared hundreds of times.
"So many people have had a good laugh, which I think we really need right now," she said in an email.
Elk often visit Patricia Circle, Jasper, where Homan lives.
She said if they're not defecating on the sidewalk, the elk are trying to eat her tree - and she believes this incident could be a revenge attack from one she has scared away from her tree in the past.
"I swear the elk like to torment me," she joked.
