A frightfully good time was had by all this Halloween in Jasper.

This year, Jasper Elementary School held its first annual outdoor Halloween parade, with staff and students dressed in spooky gear for a procession around town.

On Friday, Oct. 30, classes left the school one at a time and walked along the streets of Jasper, including past Alpine Summit Seniors Lodge and Pine Grove Manor to wave at residents.

Inside Alpine Summit, residents were having a wickedly good time too, with Halloween costumes, spooky snacks and themed games.

And creative community members made trick-or-treating extra fun and safe for Jasper’s little ghouls on Saturday night. There were candy slides, sweet pre-packaged hand-outs, haunted gardens - and even a balcony boat lowering candy by bucket.

In a Halloween mood on Oct. 30 were: Jenn Stolfa, daughter Lydia Stolfa, Alex Beztilny, Megan LeBlanc and daughter Penelope LeBlanc.  | J.McQuarrie photo
