Jasper RCMP arrest suspects for possession of stolen property

On Sept. 12, 2023, Jasper RCMP, in relation to an ongoing investigation into a spree of property thefts and “smash-and-grabs” from vehicles, arrested four individuals for which charges are pending.

On Sept. 12, 2023, Jasper RCMP, in relation to an ongoing investigation into a spree of property thefts and “smash-and-grabs” from vehicles, arrested four individuals for which charges are pending.

Incidental to the arrest of these individuals, Jasper RCMP seized multiple items, including the following:

  • Motorcycle
  • E-bikes
  • Scooters
  • Mountain bikes
  • Passports
  • Various IDs
  • Multiple bags, duffel bags and suitcases filled with various items
  • Suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine

Jasper RCMP is asking assistance from the public in order to return the stolen property to their rightful owners. Anyone who has not lodged a complaint with regards to a recent stolen good is asked to come to the Jasper RCMP Detachment, with proof of ownership when possible, to make a complaint so that their property may be returned to them.
