Kevin Kritiques: Chaos Walking (2021)

The latest sci fi to entertain audiences is Chaos Walking, and it comes with a few surprises. I have watched almost every science fiction movie made in the last 40 years, and it is rare when I see something new.

The latest sci fi to entertain audiences is Chaos Walking, and it comes with a few surprises. I have watched almost every science fiction movie made in the last 40 years, and it is rare when I see something new. The concept for Chaos Walking is unique, and I enjoyed how the movie evolved to reveal its secrets. We have all watched movies with the dystopian world theme a few times, but the twist is the characters themselves and how they interact with each other.

Within minutes of the film starting, we get a glimpse into what is called noise. By the movie's definition, if a man’s thoughts are unfiltered, it would be chaos walking. Imagine a world where everyone could hear and see your thoughts on display every second of the day. The film shows us what would happen if we could not conceal what we are thinking.

The thing that surprised me the most was Tom Holland, because I really only think of him as the new Spider-Man. Tom is branching out into new roles, and Chaos Walking was certainly a leap from Spider-Man. I am glad he took the risk, because we get to see what a great actor he is. The cameo days for Holland are over, because he certainly can hold his own. Watch this latest sci fi if you want something unique and are a fan of the Spider-Man kid.
