Women from across the province joined Jasper Curling Club last weekend for the annual Ladies Bonspiel.
Twenty-four teams, nine of which were from Jasper, took part in this year’s bonspiel and Team Borys from Sherwood Park won the A event.
Team Durand from Hinton won the B event and Seba Beach’s Team Chateauvert won the C event.
And this year the ladies were joined by Team Jamieson, from Fort Saskatchewan, who competed in the 2019 Winter Deaflympics for Canada last November.
The theme for the Ladies Bonspiel this year was Saturday Night Live. Costumes were donned on the ice and the women held a party at the club lounge on Saturday night with skits and other entertainment.
