
Police are appealing for information to locate a wanted man last seen in Hinton.
Preston Pointe Deveny, 36, from Fort St. James, British Columbia, was out in the community awaiting court on a number of conditions of release as a result of a previous criminal charge.
But on June 14, 2020, Preston Deveny was in breach of one of those conditions of release and despite attempts, Hinton RCMP have been unable to locate him.
Hinton RCMP have charged Deveny for breaching a release order and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Preston Pointe Deveny is described as a Caucasian man, six feet tall and 200 pounds with green eyes and brown hair.

Deveny was last seen wearing a red button up shirt, black pants and grey sandals.
He was last seen behind the Husky Travel Stop parking lot on Gregg Ave in Hinton on June 22, 2020, at approximately 8 p.m. and is believed to still be in the Hinton area, possibly with an All Terrain Vehicle.
Hinton RCMP are asking the public's assistance for any information in relation to Deveny’s whereabouts.
