
Pursuit is closing its hotels in Jasper in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The company is also delaying opening dates for its tourist attractions like the Columbia Icefield Adventure and Columbia Icefield Skywalk.
"In our continued efforts to keep the community, staff and guests safe, we have temporarily paused or delayed seasonal openings at our attractions, hospitality experiences and lodging across Pursuit," said Tanya Otis, senior manager of communications and media for Pursuit.
"This includes the temporary closures of our hotels in Jasper."
Otis said these closures are in alignment Pursuit's tourism partners and government officials' recommendations to self-isolate and socially distance to help flatten the curve.
"When it is safe to do so, we will re-open," she added.
Pursuit lists the following dates for reopening on its , but says because the situation around the world is rapidly evolving, these closures and delays may change:

At the Fairmont
Meanwhile, the Fairmont is still open but with some special measures in place.
The Spa and Health Club facilities are closed until further notice, as well as Moose's Nook.
Orso Trattoria has moved breakfast services to the Emerald Lounge, which is operating with limited seating as per social distancing regulations.
51°µÍø's To Go coffee shop has moved operations into the Emerald Lounge and In Room Dining is not offered, but menu items are available for pick-up.
"The hotel remains open at this time working alongside and following the guidance of our local, regional and national authorities as they work to halt the spread of COVID-19, we are taking extra precautionary measures to help keep our hotel friends and family safe," said a Fairmont spokesperson.
