Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at the Ramada Hotel in Hinton.
At about 5 a.m. on Nov. 30, a man and woman entered the hotel. The man produced a firearm and threatened the member of staff, who handed over Canadian currency. The staff member was then pepper sprayed.
The man and woman then fled into a grey or silver coloured Mazda SUV that was waiting outside, being driven by an unidentified driver.
The man is described as wearing a black inside-out hoodie, grey hat, orange mask, grey sweat/track pants, black sneakers with white soles and blue laces, with red gloves.
The woman is described as wearing a checkered flannel red and black jacket over a white hoodie, black mask with white writing, orange gloves, and black pants with black laces.
The victim was the only employee affected by the robbery. They suffered minor injuries that were treated in hospital.
Police would also like to speak to a man who was seen on surveillance footage walking around the hotel lobby prior to the robbery.
He is described as wearing an orange hat, black mask, black hoodie with white writing, jeans and tan boots.
