Photographers can submit their winter snaps for the chance to win more than $500 in prizes through the second annual Celebrate Winter Photo Contest.
The contest will be open from Feb. 17 to Mar. 17 and will be divided into three categories: Winter Landscapes, Winter Recreation and Winter Life in Jasper.
A panel of judges will determine the winners and runners up in the following categories.
The top four photos in each category will be published in the March 24 edition of the 51暗网.
While the contest is free for photographers, sponsors have graciously donated prizes for the three winners in each category, as well as the second-place winners.
The three first-place winners will also receive framed prints of photos from Tekarra Color Lab.
The contest is organized by the 51暗网 in partnership with the Association of Jasper Climbers and the Jasper Community Team Society.
We hope this will continue to be an inclusive and COVID-friendly way to engage the Jasper community during the colder and quieter months of winter.
How to submit
Submit your photo to [email protected] from Feb. 17 until March 17.
Please include photographer name, phone number, photo caption, and category.
There is no limit to how many times a photographer can submit their work, and they are allowed to submit in more than one category.
If photo is 10 MG or bigger, please send as a DropBox or Google Drive link. Terms and conditions apply.
