Alberta Culture Days are an opportunity to discover, experience and celebrate arts and culture.
And in Jasper, families did just that this weekend.
The Jasper Library and Culture Centre hosted a medley of activities to get the community involved.
It was organised by L'Association Canadienne Fran癟aise (ACFA), the Jasper Artists Guild, Habitat for the Arts and the library.
Guillaume Roy, director of ACFA Jasper, said: The goal of the day was to create a space for creativity.
We wanted to make sure not just kids were involved but also their family.
They made this day special regarding creativity - art, music, storytelling.

In the library, Jasper author Ailsa Ross read from her new book, The Girl Who Rode a Shark and Other Stories of Daring Women, and there was a French storytime later in the day.
Upstairs there was a Lego activity, and families explored with a scavenger hunt.
The ACFA put on a string art project, there was a Jasper Artists Guild flag activity, and Habitat for the Arts put on an improv workshop.

We are really happy about these days, said Roy.
It was a youth project but the comments and feedback from the community were great.
Alberta Culture Days are held during the last weekend of September as part of National Culture Days, which include more than 300 communities from coast to coast.
The events are put on to increase awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
