The U7 Jasper Bearcubs hosted their first home game of the season against Hinton this past Sunday.

This game was one of the cutest things you will ever see when it comes to hockey.
A few of the players from each team tried to get the puck and score, occasionally succeeding, while others were more concerned with waving to people in the crowd, or trying to strike up conversations with the referee.
Sometimes, they would just lay down on the ice for a little break. And one of the funniest things that happened was when it was one player's turn to be goalie, they decided to go for a little skate around the net.
But as they were behind the net, the other team was on their way with the puck to score. And in the nick of time, the goalie got back to the front of the net, and just made the save.
The score in the end was 0-0. For at this age level, the main goal is having fun.
