Snow has been falling for days in Jasper, with inches piling up in town.
And Marmot Basin is stacked with fresh powder, having received 12 centimetres of snow in the last 24 hours and 32 centimetres in the last four days.
But a snowfall warning was issued this morning (December 7) at 10.24 a.m for the park.
According to the warning, general amounts of 10 to 20 cm are forecast, although amounts may reach 30 cm in localized areas near the B.C. border.
The snow is expected to gradually move southwards today and is forecast to end from north to south beginning early Sunday morning.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
