Abby Luciano, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter

Abby Luciano is the Local Journalism Initiative Reporter at the North Shore 51°µÍø covering civic and Indigenous affairs.

She received her bachelor of arts in journalism and history from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2024, where she worked as the editor-in-chief for the student newspaper, The Runner. Abby’s work has also appeared in The Tyee and the CBC.

When she’s not writing, you can find her attending a concert, playing video games or going on a hike in the Lower Mainland.

She always welcomes story ideas, opinions or new baking recipes.
