Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization has complied the number of reported sightings of Bigfoot by province.

Located in British Columbia about 87 kilometres west of Jasper, Alta., Mount Robson is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres, with the south face having a vertical drop of over 3,000 metres.

"Our province is growing and I’m excited to lead a ministry that will continue building infrastructure to meet the needs of Albertans today and into the future."

The RCMP are asking for the public to follow instructions from all first responders and staff of the resort, and to have patience while all efforts are made to to locate and rescue anyone in need.

Through the EPR program, the Town will also receive residential curbside recycling collection services in October 2026.

Public safety specialists advice backcountry enthusiasts to stay out of avalanche terrain with the high hazard.

"Administration believes that the work they conduct can be fulfilled by Town staff, and in doing so provide approximately $100,000 in annual operational savings."

The $8 million in total funding will go toward immediate relief and support Jasper’s long-term recovery following last summer’s devastating fire.
