Alberta’s front-line health provider says it will stop awarding contracts to firms at the centre of an auditor's investigation into what the Opposition NDP calls unprecedented allegations of corruption surrounding health procurement contracts.

Parks Canada is procuring 320 housing units set to begin arriving next week, with initial occupancy expected by the end of the month.

Alberta’s auditor general launched an investigation into the procurement and contracting processes at Alberta Health and Alberta Health Services (AHS) on Feb. 6.
