There are some local lakes with a notable number of boats that shouldn't be there, said Steve Young, Jasper National Park spokesman. Parks Canada will be tagging unlicensed boats in the area over the next couple of weeks.

This summer, wildlife viewers have been officially restricted to their vehicles when observing animals along highways in Jasper, and Parks Canada officials said they have seen 鈥減romising鈥� results.
