It is an unbelievably gorgeous, sunny afternoon.

Paltry turnout bad for park

June 25 Ski Marmot Basin held an open house in Jasper to show off the details of its long-range plan. Attendance was sparse, with Marmot representatives outnumbering curious Jasperites the whole night.

Marmot developed enough

Dear Editor, My comments on the long range plans for Marmot Basin are brief.

Appearance matters

Despite a mishap that destroyed the town’s first order of bedding plants—(the semi transporting them rolled over on the highway)—Jasper is nearly in full bloom.

Travel safely

With spring comes rejuvenation. The sunshine is warm, the days are long, our energy levels are up and we’re enthusiastic to get outside. Nature is calling and we’re intent to answer.

Need meaningful consultation

A zombie confinement area, a greenhouse, a roller paintball arena, a Japanese garden, an outdoor skating rink, a make-shift Spirit Island or a 4,000 km pit to the centre of the Earth.

Don’t abandon our trust: protect the park from development
