Dear Editor, I was quite impressed by the recent article in the 51暗网 regarding the excellent services provided by Jasper鈥檚 Community and Family Services. I was amazed at the scope of services provided by the outreach workers.

Dear Editor, I have met Lynda Knight鈥檚 Piglet. There is nothing offensive about her. She undoubtedly makes little to no impact on the daily functioning of life here in Jasper National Park. Certainly she impacts the park far less than a cat or a dog.

Dear Editor, In 1908 Mary Schaffer described Maligne Lake and its surrounding peaks as 鈥渢he finest view any of us had ever beheld in the Canadian Rockies.鈥� Since then it has become far more than a view.

With Labour Day long weekend behind us, we can collectively breathe a sigh of relief. Another summer has come and gone, and now Jasperites can finally exit their hiding places and repatriate our beloved streets.

If you have abandonment issues, Jasper鈥檚 not the place for you. That is, of course, unless you鈥檙e on the hunt for a tough love cure for those issues. In that case, you couldn鈥檛 have picked a better place.

Nomination day for the upcoming municipal election is right around the corner.

One year ago, a piece of land along the Maligne River was blessed. That land was designated as a cultural area for Aboriginal groups with historic ties to Jasper National Park. It was officially opened July 20.

Dear Editor, Maligne Tours proposes to open overnight accommodation at Maligne Lake to restore what existed previously. What a fantastic idea. I am sure that Maligne Tours is willing to make the entire experience a real throw back to the past.

National parks are made for adventure and exploration. They鈥檙e the prime location for pushing limits, whether it鈥檚 in a raft, on a mountain face, in the backcountry or on a glacier. There are endless opportunities to get your adrenaline pumping.
