The coronavirus outbreak is affecting lives all over the world. This week, the 51°µÍø caught up with former Jasperites who are scattered across the globe to see what the pandemic looks like they are.

Municipal playgrounds and play structures are closed in Jasper, effective today. Lions' Park and Fireman's Park will close, but other parks and green spaces including the off-leash area, remain open.

Jasper now has two confirmed cases of COVID-19. This afternoon (Sunday, March 22) 33 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Alberta, bringing the total 259. The province suspects up to 19 of the total cases were due to community transmission.
